Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rooted mobile app and related services ("Rooted," the "Service"), provided by Marija Markauskaitė ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using Rooted, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rooted. By using it, you confirm that you are.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings).

3. What Rooted is — and isn't

Rooted is a wellness and self-improvement tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its content and insights are for general informational and wellbeing purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for any health concern. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read or track in Rooted. Your use of Rooted is at your own discretion and risk.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Rooted may offer paid subscriptions that unlock certain features.
Purchases are processed through your Apple App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Prices, renewal terms, and what's included are shown to you before you purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Rooted for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Interfere with other users' use of the Service.

6. Your content

The content you create in Rooted (routines, notes, journals, goals, and similar) is yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your content.

7. Our content

Rooted, including its name, design, logo, text, and features, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from it except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Availability & changes

We work to keep Rooted available and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and may update or discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonable.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rooted is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service or its insights. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory consumer rights).

10. Termination

You may stop using Rooted and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Rooted evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Rooted after changes means you accept them.
